Adam Retzlaff, Account Executive at Ken Cook Co., will be presenting at the 2010 AEM (Association of Equipment Manufacturers) Product Safety & Compliance Seminar, April 26-28, and the Product Liability Seminar, April 29, 2010, in Rosemont, Illinois. His topic will be "Operator and Service Manual Global Standards for Safety (ANSI Z535.6 and ISO 3600)."
ANSI Z535.6 and ISO 3600 provide guidelines for organizing and presenting safety messages in product manuals and instructions. This process gives you consistent methods for when and where messages are incorporated. In the session, attendees will gain insight into the standards, processes for applying them and examples of before and after. Adam, along with Jill Williams of CNH and James Hamm of Ridgid Tools, will share his experience in using these standards and the results.
