Ken Cook Co. and its employees assist United Way with contributions to strengthen Milwaukee and Waukesha.

Generous contributions are flowing to United Way, thanks to Ken Cook Co. and its employees. Chip Kahrs, Human Resources Specialist at Ken Cook Co., helped organize these efforts. She recently received a certificate of appreciation from United Way for her efforts in coordinating the 2015 Milwaukee & Waukesha County Community Campaign at Ken Cook Co. Chip worked closely with United Way representatives and answered questions along the way from fellow Ken Cook Co. employees.

“It’s wonderful for our staff to have so many options when it comes to contributions. United Way makes it easy for people to feel like they can really make an impact,” Chip notes.

United Way brings together partners from business, education, government, faith-based organizations, and nonprofits to achieve common goals and support community. Whether the focus is reducing teen pregnancy rates in Milwaukee, offering job training in Cincinnati, or distributing mosquito nets in Uganda, United Way strives for lasting change locally and around the world.
